Sterex Treatment

The Sterex method delivers precision hair removal. Electrolysis is a balance of science in identifying which method of Electrolysis best suits your hair and skin type, and your tolerence to the sensation. Clients appreciate my gentle and thorough technique. I stock Sterex soothing, camouflage, and Thalgo hair retardant products to support you on your hair removal journey.

Clients visiting on programs with another Electrolygists are welcome. To skip the Consultation phase please call with your treatment settings information.

Thermolysis Method

Thermolysis is simply focused heat, a cauterizing process to damage hair growth cell. It is offered when clients are not suitable for Galvanic or Blend methods. Thermolysis is also used to treat fine veins, warts, skin tags and moles. After your intake consultation you will understand your hair and skin type, hair growth cycles, hormonal impacts, and how Electrolysis can be applied to help you achieve your hair removal goals.

Galvanic Blend

Combines galvanic and thermolysis for lasting results. Galvanism creates a natural chemical in your hair folicle, it's caustic and floods the cell, which means hairs that may not have been impacted by heat receive another blow from the naturally occuring chemical lye. This is the GO TO method, with the fullest impact on hairs ability to regenerate. After your intake consultation you will understand your hair and skin type, hair growth cycles, hormonal impacts, and how Electrolysis can be applied to help you achieve your hair removal goals.

Honest Treatments

In 30+ years I have never mislead clients or overstated the capabilities of Electrolysis. Electrolysis is still the only method of hair removal which the FDA recognize as permanent, BUT it is progressive treatment, meaning it takes a while, which requires financial and time commitment. No one can honestly answer 'how long will it take'? This is always an individual experience. Hormones impact hair growth cycles and during these times you can only expect hair management. 

Master Electrologist 

I have over 30 years experience as a Master Electrologist. I trained and graduated from the top British Beauty Therapy College 'Clarendon', and continued with  Advanced Techniques and Thermolysis Training with Sterex International, whose machine and products I continue to use in Telluiride. I am LBGQT friendly and have assisted many clients in their gender transition. My Electrolysis education took a deep dive into Endocrinology, Microbiology, Aids for proficiency in blood management, and I elected to study Gender Reassignment. Electrolysis services are not available to clients under age 21.

Serene Environment

My studio is a calm, relaxing and private environment for ladies and men. Clients do not wait together or overlap. I do not have reception staff - only I know you are scheduled for Electrolysis. 

Convenient Location

I have had a private spa studio on Main St, Telluride since 2010. Electrolysis requires consistency and crucially timed treatments. You don't have to travel or wait. The specific frequency for treatment will be explained during consultation. I am located behind Studio G, just across our alley. Paid parking is available outside on Main St, or behind across the alley on Pacific. I schedule by appointment only!
