Cancellation Policy
'The only thing we cannot get back is time'!

48 hours notice to cancel - no exceptions!
I am happy to note that I rarely have issues with cancellations, no shows or lateness, as I set the scene when I schedule appointments. At booking, I politely discuss my cancellation policy, and send a link to this website page in the booking confirmation text. This work is how I make my living. I sell my time delivering a consistent quality of unmatched spa services, using and retailing premium products,. Once you schedule my time it is dedicated to you, I cannot get it back and charge accordingly!
Please do not book my services if you are prone to being late or not showing up! Please be outside of my studio at least 5 minutes before your appointment. Understand you will be charged full fee if you do not give 48 hours notice to cancel. This is noted in my booking text, confirming treatment, fees, appointment time, and detailed directions to my spa location. Only schedule a time which you can keep. Plan more than enough travel time as the gondola, roads and streets are unpredictable!
NO ONSITE PARKING. There is a Paid Parking Garage on West Pacific, behind my Colorado Avenue location, and opposite the Wilkinson Library, limited paid street parking is about town, parking meters are slow and take time to complete. Driving in on days with clear easy flowing traffic and no delays, the drive from the HWY 145 Conoco Roundabout is about 10 mins to central Telluride. From there you have to find and pay for parking, then walk to and locate my spa studio. Your travel and walk will be impacted by festival increases in traffic and pedestrians walking into the road. Festival increases in population also impacts the Gondola between Mountain Village and Telluride. Once on the Gondola a typical ride takes 13 mins, you then have to walk another 10 minutes to find my location, before taking the elevator or stairs to find my spa studio. Please do not underestimate your travel and pedestrian time.
DIRECTIONS to Spa Studio
On street utside 100 Colorado Avenue (Main Street,) you will see The Grand & Overland. Enter the breezeway between these businesses (LEFT of Overland) Inside the breezeway take ELEVATOR or stairs through door on the LEFT. There is a business directory board between the Elevator and door to stairs. Inside Elevator hit 2R (not 2)! Inside Lobby walk LEFT from elevator or stairs on the second floor. Pass kitchen on LEFT, and glass conference room on RIGHT. In carpeted hallway find suite 231 on LEFT. Please do NOT knock. Please complete Spa Client Form on the seat outside.
I DO NOT do TELLURIDE TIME! I keep time to my daily client schedule, I do not keep clients waiting, and I expect you to show up 5 minutes ahead of your scheduled time with me. Otherwise, I do, and/or will shorten or cancel your appointment at full fee. I loose the opportunity to earn gratuity. Your credit card will be charged for the cost of the treatment. I do not add gratuity in these instances. If you dispute this payment with your credit card. I respond firmly providing our text communication and I will not make appointments with you going forward, until the missed treatment and processing fees for settling card disputes is met by you.
In the event that I have an unforeseen emergency or there is a delay in my schedule. Where I have to cancel your appointment at short notice, I will notify you doing my best to delay your travel, to give you the opportunity to cancel and/or reschedule. You will not be compensated for these changes.
SOLO PRACTITIONER SPA - NO RECEPTION SERVICES or GUEST WAITING AREA If you arrive with companions, children, pets, and you are not able to attend independently without the former, your schedule will be cancelled at full fee.
UNDER 21 YEARS OF AGE I do not offer services to young adults and children under the age of 21 without the presence of their biological female parent or guardian.
GRATUITYis an aspect of blue collar industry income. If you chose not to add a gratuity, I will sincerely remain grateful that you chose to try my services, but I will not schedule you again, as 'no gratuity' implies you were unhappy with your experience. I use a quality local hair salon, I pay full price and pay 20% gratuity, I do so as it is expected, I value and would otherwise loose my spot with a top stylist! A hairdresser uses their gratuity to cover 'chair rent'. It's the same for me, and premier quality spa services have higher costs to be able to bring elevated services in remote Telluride.
LOCALS DISCOUNT In nearly 20 years as a Telluride local I have heard, 'do you offer locals discount' and 'what do I do about gratuity when it's the owner'? I do not offer locals discount. My suppliers do not offer remote area premium overheads discounts. Office space rent is Telluride is expensive. I use local businesses, I do not ask or expect local's discount and never use their services without paying 20% gratuity.
I rarely have business interruption issues as I am clear at booking, and feel I attract like minded clients. Have great days.
