Hello I am Karen Marshall

I have over 30 years Spa and Wellness experience. I was formally trained and qualified in the UK during the 1990's. I achieved BTEC and International CIBTAC  qualifications. covering Spa Management and Treatments, basically I am an all round spa therapist, skilled in the most basic to advanced esthetics services and the full spectrum of bodywork - everything you would expect from a top tier spa professional. I am now excited to be training my daughter as an Esthetician alongside the Denver Esthetics College she attends. This is a wonderful industry, the work and the people have given me so much joy over the years.

I know my way around any spa and adapt to client goals and needs. It started with exercise! I  qualified as a exercise and personal training in my 20's, a hobby business that ran alongside my 'yuppie' media career. I soon realized that the wellness industry is my tribe. I quit corporate work and trained at Clarendon College, Nottingham, the UK's top spa college. Aged 40 I moved to Telluride, then launched my spa studio on Main Street - at the bottom and unknown. I was a big deal in England, and it took a minute in Telluride, but my skills soon elevated me in the areas competitive spa space, and especially among clients who are well informed. I achieved big spa ambitions long ago, so here in Telluride as I approach my 60s, my goals are ease and travel.

I stay up to date, remaining focused on quality services and great client experiences.. I can back engineer whatever the latest facial fad is - it's never new, it's just a new lid and spin on an existing old idea! I do not run a conveyor belt of superficial services, I have time for you, this is why I have few openings for new clients. I am detailed and consistently deliver elevated skills. I only work with the highest quality products, my technique is a combination of all that I have learned over 30 years, from college to training with premium luxury global skin and body care brands.
